I Can’t Go on the Immersion Trip

Yup, that's right, you read the title right. I can't go on the Immersion trip… without help and support. I appriciate the prayers, and I covet them so much, but I also need financial support. And so far I haven't received enough. I can't go, unless I'm sent, and I can't be sent if I don't have the money.

I have $4,714.50 in my AIM account, and that hasn't changed for a week… I need $9,000 in my account by July 6th, a little more than a week. So you don't have to do the math, that's $4,285.50. If that doesn't get in there, or isn't very close to the total of $9,000 then my plans will have to change for this coming July, and August, and September and the 9 months following that.

Whatever God has planned is best, and I will go after what He has in store for me, but in the last few days I've realized how much I just REALLY want to go on this Immersion trip. It's funny how you need to have something taken away, or pretty close to be taken away, to realize how much you want it and appriciate it.

So, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

Will you please host a fundraising event for me? I know not everyone can give money, but you can still help me. You could organize a car wash or a silent auction, or a yard sale, or a dinner of some sort or just about anything. You can comment below if you are willing to do this for me (or email or write on my Facebook wall.

Will you buy a t-shirt? They are $20 each:

Will you buy some bracelets? They are 2 for $5 and made in the Philipines half the money goes back to the families living in poverty and made these beautiful bracelets:

Will you send a check to AIM?

Make it out to "Adventures in Missions" write my name "Jalin-Irene Bailey" in the memo line, and send it to "Adventures In Missions 6000 Wellspring Trail Gainesville, GA 30506"

Will you follow this link to give money if you don't want to send a check?

This all can be summed up into this: I AM WILLING TO GO, WILL YOU SEND ME?

An encouraging word is always welcome. If you would like to send me some encouragement or advice, please comment below (or send me an email or write on my Facebook wall).
